Todd Blumenfeld

Todd focuses his legal practice on providing general outside legal counsel for companies across an array of industries, including contract drafting and review; negotiations with vendors, suppliers, and customers; corporate set up, structure, and governance; and other forms of legal and business counsel. Todd also provides intellectual property licensing and litigation counsel, as well as litigates general business and other civil matters. Todd’s clients range from small, start-up food manufacturers and restaurants, to larger, more-established manufacturing business and other companies with multiple, large-scale facilities.   

Before starting Blumenfeld & Sweeny with co-founder and partner Jennifer Bley Sweeny in January of 2019, Todd worked at Friedman Suder & Cooke from 2008 through 2018, becoming a shareholder in 2016. While there, Todd focused on licensing and litigation, primarily helping clients to protect and enforce their patents, trade secrets, and other intellectual property rights.  Both prior to entering and during law school, Todd worked at RCA records in radio promotion.
